'Changing Perspectives'
COLLECTION CONCEPT
To build a fashion collection where it’s core value is to respect our planet, taking inspiration from what is beautiful in the world for my hand painted prints and to encourage consumers to re-engage and cherish what surrounds them and the clothes they invest in.
A collection of individual stand alone pieces that are purposefully designed to be layered together to reinvigorate the look of each individual garment, giving them a new lease of life to extend their longevity. Aligning to my principle of producing more sustainable products not only through keeping items for longer, but also reducing the amount of items in your wardrobe.
Through research I found that there are many attributes to a design/garment that I needed to consider to contribute to its timeless appeal, with quality, individuality and craftsmanship being the uppermost components.

LAYERING TO CREATE NEWNESS
